Jason Bradley

June 15, 1967 — June 12, 2008

Jason L Bradley born June 15, 1967 in Independence, Missouri to Lewis and Gloria Bradley. Jason returned home to his Lord on June 12, 2008.
He was raised in Independence, Missouri, attended William Southern Elementary and graduated from Truman High School in 1985. As a youth he attended Sycamore Hills Baptist and First Baptist Church of Independence. Jason’s current church home is Kansas City Baptist Temple, where he enjoyed Sunday school, church services and many of his closest friends.
Jason was employed as a mechanic by Unilever Lipton Tea for the past five years. He always had a talent and passion for mechanics and motors. He also had his own small business named JB’s Garage Door Company, where he sold and installed overhead doors.
Jason’s hobbies included dirt bike riding with his brother Paul, snow skiing in Colorado, camping, hunting, attending church at Kansas City Baptist Temple and spending time with his dog Sam.
Jason was a member of the American Diabetes Association, and had lived with diabetes since the age of six. Jason participated in raising funds for ADA by riding his bike in events.
Jason is survived by his parents, Lewis and Gloria Bradley of Oak Grove, Missouri, his eldest brother Paul of Blue Springs, Missouri, his sister Susan Braby of Missoula, Montana, and his younger brother John of Powell, Ohio. His nieces include Danielle and Morgan Braby, Lindsey Boyle, Austin Bradley, and Kara and Katie Bradley. Jason recently became a great uncle with Kylie Mae Boyle.
Jason was a loving son, brother and uncle. He had a warm spirit and giving heart. His friends will tell he was a witness to the Lord, and often led others by testimony of faith and invitation to church. He has attended church mission trips to Indian reservations for construction projects. His friends and family attest he was always willing to participate in any project.
He loved animals, and was especially fond of German Shephards. Jason always had the companionship of man’s best friend, and has owned several loving and faithful Shephards.
Jason will be remembered most for his vibrant personality, his enthusiasm for life and his wonderful smile. A visitation service for Jason will be held 6 - 8 pm, Sunday evening, June 15th at Speaks Funeral Home on 39th street in Independence. A “Celebration of Remembrance” service will be held Monday morning @ 10:00 a.m. at Kansas City Baptist Temple, 5460 Blue Ridge Cutoff, K.C., MO.
