Jeanne L. Brantner, 81, Lone Jack, MO passed away May 15, 2010. Services will be 2 pm, Thursday, May 20, 2010 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; private committal services will be held later at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Jeanne was born March 15, 1929 in Grand Rapids, MI. She graduated from Rockford (MI) High School in the class of 1947. She was a member of the Church of Christ (Temple Lot) in Independence. She loved reading, sewing, crocheting and puzzles.
Jeanne was preceded in death by infant daughters Brenda Beth and Karen Jo Brantner; brothers Howard Platt and Alvin “Buck” Platt. She is survived by her husband of fifty-nine years Charles Brantner, of the home; daughters Debra Jeanne Haines and husband Bruce, Independence, MO; Cheryl Anne Pease and husband Carl, Cedar Springs, MI; son Andy Brantner and wife Carol, Lee’s Summit, MO; mother-in-law Sarah Brantner, Warrensburg, MO: brothers Robert Platt and wife June, Rockford, MI; Ted Platt and wife Helen, Hillsdale, MI; sister Violet Robinson and husband Jim, Stanwood, MI; brother David Platt and wife Marla, Rockford, MI; sisters-in-law Irene Nelson; Helen Platt, both of Rockford, MI; former sister-in-law LouAnn Platt, Cedar Springs, MI; nine grandchildren; twelve great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
