Hugh Brasel

Hugh A. Brasel, 96, of Independence, MO passed away January 13, 2012. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, January 16, at Mount Washington Cemetery, Independence, MO. Hugh was born September 26, 1915 in Jasper, Arkansas to Lewis and Frances Brasel. He was a proud veteran of the U.S. Army, serving during WWII. Hugh’s biggest passion was his loving wife and family. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 66 years, Christine (Villines) Brasel; three daughters, Nancy Call, Glenda Flyer and Donna Wray; as well as 11 grandchildren.
