Lloyd A. Brecht

Lloyd A. Brecht, 89, of Kansas City, MO passed away November 12, 2015. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. followed by a 2:00 p.m. service on Tuesday, November 17, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Burial will be held at Floral Hills Cemetery. Lloyd was born August 1, 1926 in Cottonwood Falls, KS to Wilfred and Arilia (Pennington) Brecht. He was a proud veteran of the United States Army, serving during WWII. He had worked on his farm, as well as being a skilled machinist, and absolutely loved working as an antique’s dealer. Lloyd was preceded in death by his parents; and loving wife, Mildred. He is survived by his three children, Richard Brecht, Vickie Long, Brenda Slaughter; six grandchildren; loving great grandchildren and other family members.
