Brenda Ann Gambino, a beloved mother and grandmother, passed away on October 24, 2023, surrounded by her loved ones in Independence, Missouri. She was born on August 3, 1961, in Kansas City. Brenda's life was marked by her kind-heartedness, fun-loving nature, and unwavering love for her family.

Brenda enjoyed her professional journey at World Brake, where she dedicated 18 years of her life. Her hard work and dedication led her to the position of Supervisor before she ultimately retired. Throughout her career, Brenda exemplified leadership and set an example for those around her.

While she found fulfillment in her career, Brenda's true joy came from the love of her family. Brenda is survived by her son, Dorval Wood; daughters Maria Gambino and Vita Gambino; and son Austin Wood. She also leaves behind cherished memories with her adored grandchildren – Daisy, Vito, Lukas and Wyatt.

Outside of work and family life, Brenda had a vibrant spirit that radiated through everything she did. She found joy in dancing like no one was watching, taking a dip on hot summer days, and being the life of every party she attended.

Brenda valued education highly and attended Van Horn High School. Her thirst for knowledge extended beyond the classroom as she continuously sought opportunities to learn and grow throughout her life.

In addition to being an exceptional mother and professional, Brenda made lifelong friendships along the way. Her loving nature attracted people from all walks of life who were captivated by her genuine warmth and infectious laughter.
