Brenda Lee Smith

Brenda Lee Smith, age 68, left us to get her wings with the dawn of January 17th, 2026.

Brenda is survived by her husband Jim Smith, her sons Michael and Daniel Green, her daughter Brittany Martin and Son-In-Law Luke Martin, as well as a slew of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Brenda was born on November 4th, 1957 in Kansas City, Missouri, and faced adversity with her big smile from the beginning. She spent her youth modeling and living her life to the fullest. She made her way into healthcare as she became a mother dedicated to being the best she could be for her children. It was not easy for Brenda, often overcoming life's trials as a single mother of four, but the character of her children speak to her efforts and her steadfast dedication. As Brenda matured, she became an Activities Director for a few local nursing homes, spending her time caring for and entertaining the elderly of our community. She will be forever remembered for her smile and her laugh, which is infectious even now.

A Celebration of Life will be held at George Owens Nature park, from 1:00 to 3:00 PM on Saturday, February 7th.
