Elfriede Brennaman

Elfriede Clara Brennaman, 86, died August 24. Born in Cannstatt, Germany, she emigrated to the U.S. on Jan 1, 1924. She was Secretary/Treasurer of United Metal Spinning Co. until the business was sold in 2000. She was a resident of John Knox Village. She was preceded in death by her husband of 59 years, Carl R. Brennaman, Sr. Elfriede will be missed by her seven children: Carl Jr. (Judy), Carole Kelso, Larry (Laura), Richard (Ruth), Dennis (Letricia), Mary Johnson (Ron), Patricia Lieneke (Steve), 11 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and many friends at John Knox. Visitation and Rosary will be Wednesday from 6-8 pm Speaks Funeral Home, 39th St at 291 Hwy, Independence, MO. Mass of Christian Burial will be at Our Lady of the Presentation Church, 130 NW Murray Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO on Thursday at 10 am, followed by entombment at Mt. Olivet Cemetery.
