Betty Brewer

Betty Brewer, 81, of Independence, MO went home to be with the Lord, Monday, September 7, 2009 at her home. Betty was born June 13, 1928. She worked at Cleanarama Laundry for 42 years. In 1944, Betty married Wayne Brewer, Sr. They just celebrated their 65th anniversary on Sunday, September 6, 2009. She was preceded in death by two sons, Gary Brewer in 2002, and Ronnie Brewer in 2006. Betty is survived by her husband, Wayne Brewer, Sr., of the home; three sons, Wayne Brewer, Jr. and wife Joan of Grain Valley, MO, Larry Brewer, and Donnie Brewer, both of Independence, MO; two daughters, Joyce Reed and husband Sam, and Michelle Brewer, both of Independence, MO; 13 grandchildren, Lisa, Terri, Steve, Chad, Michael, Stephanie, Louie, Mystie, Renee, Ashley, Cory, Jordon and Austin; 12 great grandchildren; and 3 great-great grandchildren. She will be dearly missed. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Thursday, September 10, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO. Graveside services at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO.
