Ruby Jeanettie (Williams) Brison, 84 of Independence, MO passed away, Thursday, July 21, 2011 at her residence. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, July 23, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Assembly of God Church, 740 N. Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64125. Burial will follow in Mt. Washington Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64050. Donations may be made to the Blue Ridge Assembly of God Church, New Building Fund, 740 N. Blue Ridge Blvd., Kansas City, MO 64125. Jeanettie daughter of James Allen Williams and Maud T. (Sparks) Williams was born in Newton County, AR on June 2, 1927. Jeanettie was raised in Newton County, AR and married Hoyt Brison on June 14, 1946 and settled in Independence, MO. She was preceded in death by her husband, Hoyt H. Brison, her daughter, Carolyn S. (Brison) Girdner, her parents and all of her siblings. Survivors include; her children, Ken and Dorothy Brison, Donald and Delta Brison, son-in-law Tom Girdner, David and Sherry Brison, Jim and Janice Brison, Denver and Addie Brison; 16 grandchildren, Steven and Cheryl Brison, James and Becky Brison, Christy and Adam Van Becelaere, Ron and Annette Brison, Sandy and Shaun Feaker, Jody Brison, Jerry and Kelli Girdner, Joseph and Annie Girdner, Jeffery and Hilary Girdner, John Girdner, Todd Brison, Shawn and Tasha Brison, Jared Brison, Timothy Brison, Amy Brison and Alexander Brison; 15 great grandchildren; two sisters-in-law, Neola Williams and Dorothy Atkisson and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. She had worked in injection molding for 30 years, retiring from Plastic Enterprises. Jeanettie lived her life as a Proverbs 31 woman, lovingly serving her family and her church. She was a faithful member of Blue Ridge Assembly of God, attending with her family since 1958. We express our appreciation to Anna Bell Wild for her love and care of our mother.
