Ruth Brockman

Ruth Brockman, 86, of Independence, MO passed away October 6, 2010 at Villages of Jackson Creek. Ruth was born August 1, 1924 in Pittsville, Wisconsin to Hiram James and Rose B. Petrie. She was preceded in death by her husband, Isaac Brockman; and five brothers. She is survived by one daughter, Cheryl Taylor and husband David; one son, Isaac Brockman, Jr. and wife Diane; two sisters, Elizabeth Olson and Mae Arnold; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. A visitation will be held from 1-2:00 p.m. with a 2:00 p.m. service to follow on Saturday, October 9, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO 64052. Burial at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to East Independence Local Church of Christ Temple Lot, Philippines Mission Fund, P.O.
