Beverly Ann Brooks, 79, passed away on May 2, 2017. A graveside service will be held on Saturday, May 6, at 10:00am, at Mount Washington Cemetery.
Beverly was born on February 18, 1938, in Cross Timbers, MO, to Carel and Erma (Stephens) Cothern. She attended Northeast High School, and married Robert L. Brooks – to this union were born four children. She also worked for Sears as an order-filler for five years, and was the proud owner of a skating rink. She was a member of the Community of Christ, and enjoyed sewing, knitting, and spending time with her family and her two German Shepherds, Rika and Kya.
Beverly is survived by her children, Stephen, David, and Leigh Ann Brooks; grandson, Robert B. Brooks, and great-grandchildren, Jackie Brooks and Robert B. Brooks, Jr.
She was preceded in death by her husband, her son, Robert L. Brooks, Jr.; her parents, and her two brothers.
