David Wayne "Dave" Brown

David Wayne Brown died May 5, 2023 in Independence, MO.



David was born on Feb 28 1963 ) in Los Angeles CA, the son of Frank and Blanche.



He Graduated high school from the University of New Mexico, attended Missouri Western and University of Central MO obtained degrees in criminal justice.



He married Angela Hodges in St. Joseph on January 29th 1982 and to this union were born 3 children, Jered, Matthew and Marisa.



David was a genrous father who worked hard at Unilever bestfood making wishbone salad dressing then Knorr sides before retiring after almost 25 years before retiring in 2021



David also loved spending time with his family, watching movies, and traveling. He had the opportunity to visit California and many other places where he made so many memories.



David was a man of few words who was the best at taking care of his family and he will be dearly missed.



David is survived by: Angela, his wife, His children Jered, Matthew and Marisa, Sister Karen and her family



He was preceded in death by: (his parents Frank and Blanche and his sisters Judy and Cheryl).



A visitation will be held on Monday 15, at (6pm-8 pm), at Carson-Speaks, with funeral service at Carson Speaks on Tuesday May 16 at 10 am. He will be laid to rest in Mt. Washington in Independence MO. Reception to Follow Interment at Christ United Methodist Church on 39th.
