Debra S. Brown, 56, of Independence, MO passed away Monday, June 20, 2011. Services will be 10:00 a.m. Saturday, June 25, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel, 18020 E. 39th St., Independence, MO 64055. Visitation will be 6-8:00 p.m. Friday, June 24, 2011 in the chapel. Burial in Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Debra was born July 18, 1954 in Kansas City, MO. She is survived by her loving husband of 33 years, Melvin Brown; son Michael Brown; grandson Michael C. Brown; sister Linda Allison and husband David; and by a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Mrs. Brown was preceded in death by her parents.
