H. Delores “Dolly” Brown, 85, Kearney, MO, passed away May 11, 2013. Services will be 11 am, Friday, May 17 at Hosanna Lutheran Church, 2800 N. Church Rd.., Liberty, MO 64068; interment at Fairview Cemetery, Kearney, MO. Visitation will begin at 10 am before the service. The family suggests contributions to the American Cancer Society, 1100 Pennsylvania Ave., Kansas City, MO 64105. Dolly was born Sept. 6, 1927 near Wolford, ND. She was a registered nurse who worked in home health care, hospitals and at the Smithville Convalescent Center during her career. She enjoyed reading, was a master quilter and a staunch Democrat. Most of all she loved her family and being a Grandma. Dolly was preceded in death by her husband Roy W. Brown, four brothers and four sisters. She is survived by son Jim Brown and wife Janiece, Kearney, MO; daughter Bonnie Stalder and husband Steven, Kansas City, MO; son Bruce Brown and wife Cindy, Smithville, MO; daughter Barbara Wright and husband Jeffrey, Kearney, MO; sisters-in-law Edie Dunham, Rugby, ND; Lucille Brown, Marshall, MO; grandchildren Brandon, Ashley, Jennifer, Ryan, Bryan, Kevin, Joey, Molly, Nathan, Ian, Mary, Olivia and great-grandchildren.
