Marie was born Oct. 24, 1915 to Biaggio and Mary Lamanno. She grew up in the Kansas City area and graduated form East High School. She later became a devoted wife and mother. She lived most of her life in Independence, MO. She was described as a strong-minded woman who was never slow to express her opinion. She had a warm smile, laughed often and loved to be around friends and family. Marie held strong traditions of her full Italian background. She enjoyed keeping up these traditions through stories, travel, cooking and Italian song. During her life she was always an active member of her church communities. She was organized and had amazing foresight into her plan for each decade of her journey.
Marie always wished for a full and healthy life but confidently spoke of being ready to join her husband, Jack, once her health had declined. Her final plan is now in place just as she had wished.
