Bill E. Brown, 64, of Blue Springs, MO passed away February 1, 2008 at the Select Specialty Hospital of Overland Park. Visitation will be held from 6-8:00 p.m. on Monday, February 4, at the Speaks Suburban Chapel. Services at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, February 5, at the chapel with burial to follow at Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. Bill was born November 10, 1943 in Joplin, MO to Donald and Bessie Brown. He grew up in Warrensburg, MO, and graduated from Warrensburg High School in 1961. Bill was a Veteran of the United States Marine Corp, serving during the Vietnam War. He then received his Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Chemistry from CMSU in Warrensburg in 1971. Bill retired from Hallmark Cards after 27 years, serving as a chemist. His greatest passion in life was his family. Bill is survived by his wife, Judy Brown; two daughters, Lisa Hill and Kristina and husband Brandon Ward; four grandchildren, Payton, Halle, Brady and Colin; one brother, Donald and wife Ruby Brown; and many other loving nieces, nephews, family members and friends. The family would like to especially thank the staffs at the ICU at Menorah Medical Center as well as at the Select Specialty Hospital of Overland Park.
