Eveliene Bruder

Eveliene Mary (Fisher) Bruder, 98 of Independence, MO, passed away Thursday, February 4, 2010 at Carmel Hill Living Center. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Friday, February 19, 2010 at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Eveliene was born October 20, 1911 in Tyvan, Saskatchewan Canada to William John and Amanda Mary (Keeler) Fisher, one of ten children. She was united in marriage to Charles Edward Bruder on November 14, 1932 in Regina, Saskatchewan, Canada. They moved to Independence, MO in 1947 where Charles was a well known builder and contractor. Eveliene worked at the RLDS Auditorium and retired in January 1976. Mrs. Bruder was a member of the Community of Christ Blue Springs Congregation. She is survived by her son Wayne Bruder and wife Judy; grandsons Jeffrey Bruder and wife Lisa, Eric Bruder and wife April, Charles Edward Bruder II; four great-grandchildren Jonathan, Geoffrey, Erica and Chad Bruder. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Bruder; and by her nine siblings.
