She was preceded in death by her husband Larry and son David. Joyce enjoyed sharing life with the people around her. She taught her daughters, by example, how to be a dedicated mom through her involvement with Camp Fire and her friendships at Blue Ridge Boulevard UMC. Joyce shared 48 years of marriage with Larry, and they called Independence, MO home beginning in 1960. Upon Larry’s death, she was able to share her smile and charm with friends at The Fountains in Independence, and then in O’Fallon, MO where she could be closer to family. She prayed for her grandchildren to know and follow Jesus.
