LeRoy Everett Bryan, 94, Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, May 18, 2011 at University of Kansas Medical Center.
Memorial services celebration LeRoy’s Life will be at 2:00 PM Monday, May 23, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Inurnment to follow at Woodlawn Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00-2:00 PM Monday at the funeral home.
LeRoy was born May 31, 1916 in Atchison, KS the son of Elmer and Della (Yahn) Bryan. He was a U.S. Army Veteran of WWII. LeRoy retired in 1978 as an Assistant Supervisor and Advanced Care Manager from Holy Cross Cemetery in San Diego, CA.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Opal in 1994, two brothers, two sisters and his parents. Survivors include his daughter, Gayle Schroeder and her husband Larry of Independence; grandchildren, Barbara Spriggs, and Michael Schroeder and six great grandchildren.
