Rachel Buchner

Rachel E. Buchner, writer, playwright, composer of music, business consultant and lecturer on diamonds for De Beers, died on December 30, 2010 at the age of 90. Rachel was born January 25, 1920, in Independence, MO to Lee and Rachel (MacKinnon) Hart. She was raised in Independence, MO and then moved to Manhattan in New York City, where she spent the majority of her life. In her 70’s, she married Frank Buchner, and moved to Mendham, NJ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Frank Buchner; and brother, Lee Hart. Immediate family survivors include three sisters, Mary Mayre Richerson, Patricia Ray, Betty Crow (Cox); and one brother-in-law, Robert Ray. There will be no services.
