Dollie Budd

Dollie L. Budd, 94, of Independence, MO passed away Wednesday, April 7, 2004 at the Independence Regional Health Center. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Monday, April 12, at the George C. Carson & Son�s Funeral Home with the burial at Mound Grove Cemetery. The visitation will be held from 7-8:30 p.m. on Sunday, April 11, at the Carson�s Chapel. Dollie was born on May 18, 1909 in Mounds, OK to Orion C. and Lula B. Linkhart. In 1972, she retired from the Herald Publishing House after many years of service. For Dollie, life centered around her children, grandchildren and God. She was preceded in death by her husband of 40 years, Frederick Earl Budd. Dollie is survived by her three children, J.C. "Jim� with wife Marcella Budd, Joplin, MO, Fred E. with wife Lynn Budd, Independence, MO and Daisy Lu with husband Alvin Gwinn, Independence, MO; twelve grandchildren, Ron Gwinn, Steve Gwinn, Rick Gwinn, Melanie Straughn, James Kempner, Chris Budd, Carrie Budd, Robyn Budd, Bo James Budd, Vickie Ringwood, Michael Budd and Fred Eldon Budd; twenty-seven great grandchildren; and two great-great grandchildren.
