Ila Lorene Bunting, 82, Buckner, MO passed away Sunday, May 12, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Friday, May 17, 2013 at the Frist Baptist Church of Buckner; 131 S. Hudson St., Buckner, MO 64016. Funeral services will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial will follow at Six Mile Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to the American Cancer Society.
Ila was born April 28, 1931 in Fairview, IA the daughter of Kenneth Merle and Sarah Anne (Taylor) Joslin. She retired in 1993 from the Independence Sanitarium as an LPN. Ila enjoyed reading, crocheting, traveling, and genealogy research.
She was preceded in death by her husband Elve Bunting in 1992; daughter, Vicky Bunting; two grandchildren; one sister, and two brothers.
Survivors include her children, Nancy Asenbrener, Kathy Goebel and husband Ed, Connie Morley and husband Earl, Kenny Bunting and wife Deborah, and Julie Dean and husband Bobby; 13 grandchildren; and several great grandchildren.
