Mable Burghoff

Mable L. Burghoff, 90, of Independence, MO passed away January 17, 2008 at her home. A visitation will be held from 9-10:00 a.m. with a service to follow at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, January 23, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington, Independence, MO. Burial at Mt. Olivet Cemetery. Mable was born April 1, 1918 in Kansas City, MO to John and Nellie Rune. She is survived by her loving son, Sam Shortino and wife Vivian; one grandson, Tony Shortino; and one granddaughter, Stephanie Shortino. Mable was preceded in death by her first husband, Vito Shortino; and second husband, Roy Burghoff. She will be dearly missed.
