John William Burke

John William Burke, 60 of Independence, MO passed away Sat. Feb 19, 2005. Services will be 10:00 am, Wed. Feb 23, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave, Indep. MO. Burial in Buckner Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm Tuesday at the chapel. Mr. Burke was born on Feb 25, 1944 to E.W. and Marie Burke in Kansas City, MO and had lived most of his life in this area. He had been a heavy equipment operator with Wyatt Excavating Company for many years and for the past six years had been the Co-owner of KC Builders. John was a wonderful father, son and friend and will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon and by his father, E.W. Burke. He is survived by three sons, Mike Burke of Everett, WA; Clint Burke of Kansas City, MO and Derick Burke of Oak Grove, MO. Two daughters, Brenda France of Lee�s Summit, MO and Lori Schubach of Kansas City, MO. His mother, Marie Burke of Independence, MO, five grandchildren, Chantel, Brandy, Nicole, Dalton and Shawn. His special friend, Dorothy Berendzen of Independence and several aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.
