Lenora Burkhart

Niecie Burkhart, 47, of Independence, MO passed Sept. 7, 2011. Visitation from 1-3:00 p.m. followed by 3:00 p.m. service on Saturday, Sept. 17, at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. She was born October 21, 1963 in Kansas City, MO to Bobbie and Edith (Lee) Burkhart. Her passions included singing karaoke, gardening and most of all she loved being around her family. Her six grandchildren were the light of her life. She was preceded in death by her parents; and one son, Steven Burkhart. She is survived by her son, Josh Christenson; significant other, Wayne Ward; and six grandchildren. She will be dearly missed.
