Jacqueline Burns

Jacqueline Burns, 72, mother, wife, sister, grandmother and leader passed away Thursday, June 5, 2008 at St. Mary’s Medical Center. A visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM Saturday, June 7, 2008 with services beginning at 11:00 AM; burial at Floral Hills East Cemetery. The family suggests contributions be made to the Multiple Sclerosis Society, PO Box 2292, Shawnee Mission, KS 66201.
Jacqueline was born April 14, 1936 in Oelwein, IA to John and Beulah Tucker. She made her home in Missouri, raising four children and one grandson. Jacqueline was employed by Kansas City Cardiology Group for 18 years prior to her retirement in 2003. She enjoyed reading, cooking, and traveling, but most of all loved her family. She was a dear person to everyone she came in contact with and will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
Jacqueline was preceded in death by her first husband, Terrance Berridge, second husband, Norman Burns and by her son, Brad Berridge. She is survived by three children and their spouses: Teresa and Robert Turner, Bobbie and Chuck Gicinto, and Scott and Valerie Berridge; three grandchildren: Joshua Heavner, Courtney Gicinto, and Whitney Gicinto; great-grandson, Conner Krough; two step-grandsons: Brock and Brett Harmon; brother, Jim Tucker and wife Jeanenne; sister, Patricia T. Daine and husband John; and a host of extended family and friends.
