E. Charlene Burr, 68, Buckner, MO passed away Feb. 14, 2010. Graveside services will be at 10 am, Wed., Feb. 17, 2010 at Blue Springs Cemetery.
Charlene was born Jan. 24, 1942 in Meadville, MO. She graduated from Southeast High School in Kansas City. She was the staffing coordinator at the Medical Center of Independence for over fifteen years before her retirement. She enjoyed playing bingo.
Charlene was preceded in death by her son Michael Burr in 1994 her brother Bill Bowman. She is survived by her husband of forty-eight years Newell R. Burr, of the home; daughter Patricia D. Kays and husband Gary; son Nick Burr and wife Yvette, all of Blue Springs, MO; sisters Norlene Slavens, Sunrise Beach, MO; Shirley Ware, Kansas City, MO; and four grandchildren.
