Elizabeth Burrows

Elizabeth Burrows, 88, of Independence, MO passed away September 17, 2009 at the Kansas City Hospice House. A private family graveside will take place at Mound Grove Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Kansas City Hospice House. Elizabeth was born November 25, 1920 in Campbellsville, KY to Welby and Ira L. Hash. She was preceded in death by her husband, Ruben Burrows; and one son, Cecil York. Elizabeth is survived by her two loving daughters, Janet Brown and husband John Jr., Linda Lacy and husband Gerald; eleven grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; eight step-great grandchildren; and three great-great grandchildren. The family would like to express their gratitude to the caregivers at Centerpoint Medical Center, Carmel Hills Living Center and the Kansas City Hospice House for the care and attention they gave to Elizabeth during her illness.
