Laura Burrows

Laura Mae Burrows, 94, Hannibal, MO, formerly of Independence, MO, passed away Aug. 3, 2007 at Willow Care Center in Hannibal. Graveside services will be held at 2 pm, Wed., Aug. 8, 2007 at Mound Grove Cemetery, Independence, MO. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests contributions to the Eagles Lodge in Independence.
Laura was born July 26, 1913 in Hull, IL to Elmer Linear and Ida (Booker) Linear. She lived most of her married life in Independence and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Independence.
Laura was preceded in death by husbands Wesley Bell Smith, Gilbert Sailor and Edward Burrows; son Wesley Smith; grandson Wesley Smith; daughter Mary Ruth Herman; sisters Mable Brown; Ruby Linear; and Frances Dickensheets. She is survived by sister Ann Lang, Quincy, IL; daughters Louise Johnson, Hannibal, MO; Betty Marlow and husband Merrill, Phillipsurg, MO; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-three great-grandchildren; fifteen great-great-grandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.
