Kayla Caddenhead

Kayla Renee (George) Caddenhead, 54 of Independence, MO, passed away, Friday morning, October 1, 2010 at Centerpoint Medical Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 9, 2010 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Lobb Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Friday evening at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her name to the family for funeral costs. Kayla was born April 27, 1956 in Princeton, MO to Wilbur Lee and Marilyn E. (Jobe) George. She was a devoted wife mother and grandmother who enjoyed reading, playing pool, going to garage sales and mostly spending time with her family. She was a member of the Women of the Moose Lodge #1092 of Sugar Creek, MO and had attended Mt. Washington United Methodist Church. She is survived by; her husband, Allen Evans of the home; a daughter, April Smith of Independence, MO; a son, Joshua Martin of Chanute, KS; a sister, Kristy George of Independence, MO; 7 grandchildren; 3 nieces, a nephew and 1 great niece.
