Barbara Campbell

Barbara Genevieve Campbell, 78, of Lee’s Summit, MO, formerly of Grandview, MO passed away Tuesday, May 20, 2008 at St. Luke’s Hospital East. Memorial Services will be 2:00 p.m. Saturday, May 24, 2008 at Speaks Suburban Chapel. Cremation. Barbara was born March 3, 1930 in St. John, KS to Alonzo and Eda (Nagel) Drake. She was a graduate of the Kansas City Art Institute. Barbara loved to paint and was known for her southwest themed paintings. Mrs. Campbell was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Barbara is survived by her son Kenneth D. Campbell; daughter Marti Hill and husband Mark; grandchildren Brandon, Joshua, Aubrey, Jamie, Jon and Ben; great-grandson Alexander; by her sister Emma “Tootsie” Wolber. She was preceded in death by her sister Pansy Mettscher and niece Pansy Bea.
