Evelyn Campbell

Evelyn Clara (McDonald) Campbell, 101, passed away, Sunday, May 11, 2008 at Hidden Lake Care Center. Services will be 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 14, 2008 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel. Burial will be in Mt. Olivet Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 9:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Donations may be made to the Rockwood Baptist Church or to Care Alternatives Hospice Care. Evelyn was born April 8, 1907 in Westport, IA the daughter of James S. and Clettie (McCannon) McDonald. She had worked as a cashier for Montgomery Wards for over 25 years before she retired. She was a member of Rockwood Baptist Church and the Jolly Sixties. She was married to Joseph E. Campbell on February 12, 1941; he preceded her in death in 1975. She was also preceded in death by; a brother, Dale McDonald of Lodi, CA and a sister, Hilda Wagner of Harrisonville, MO. She is survived by many nieces and nephews.
