Daisy Esperanza Campos, 93, Olathe, KS formerly of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Monday, April 29, 2013.
Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. Monday, May 6, 2013 at St. Cyril’s Catholic Church; 11231 Chicago St., Sugar Creek, MO 64054. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 a.m. at the church. Burial to follow at St. Mary’s Cemetery. Memorial contributions are suggested to St. Cyril’s Church.
Daisy was born August 19, 1919 in Tampico, Mexico the daughter of Manuel and Bertha G. (Gaitan) Madrueno. She retired from Universal Manufacturing in 1985 as a supervisor. Daisy was a member of the St. Cyril’s Church and the Altar Society. She volunteered for the Red Cross during WWII. Daisy enjoyed water aerobics, playing bingo and traveling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Isabel “Ed” Campos; brothers, Leonard, Alfonso, and John Madrueno; and nephew, John Madrueno.
Survivors include her sister, Rose Perez and husband Albert; brother, Peter Madrueno and additional nieces, nephews, and family. The family would like to thank the staff of Whispering Meadows Neighborhood at Aberdeen Village for all their care and support for Daisy.
