Sherilyn “Moose” Louise Cannon, 66, Independence, MO passed away Thursday, March 17, 2011 at her home.
A memorial visitation to celebrate Sherilyn’s life will be from 3:00-5:00 PM on Saturday, March 26, 2011 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th St. Independence, MO. Memorial contributions are suggested to the St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
Sherilyn was born August 15, 1944 in Kansas City, MO the daughter of Owen Marshall and Mary (Durnell) Carter. She was employed with the Social Security Administration for 9 years before retiring. Sherilyn enjoyed traveling, crocheting, and spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents.
Survivors include her sons; Charles E. Cannon, Derrick A. Cannon, and Steven Roberts; daughters, Tammy Cannon and Sheila Cannon; 18 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; nephews, Mark and Johnny VanHolt and numerous family and friends.
