Carol Jean Carpenter

Carol J. Carpenter, 73, passed away September 17, 2026. Carol was born March 6, 1953, in Independence, MO, to the late Kenneth and Lois (Welch) Carpenter. Carol was a lifelong member of the Community of Christ Church. She grew up in Independence, graduating from Van Horn high school in 1971. She went on to Graceland College. She went on to work at Burk, Ennis, Allen, Pannell, and Markle Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons, where she spent her whole career. Carol leaves behind her loving brother, Keith, and his wife, Betty; a niece, Mikealene Evans, her husband, David, and their three sons; and her nephew, Brian Carpenter, his wife, Shelly, and their son; her very special cousins, Jim and Vista Welch.
