Carol Sue Reid

Carol Colter/Reid passed away Saturday, August 9, 2025, at her birth home in Mountain View MO. She was born September 2, 1945 in Howell County, MO, daughter to Eugene and Velma Colter.

Carol served for over 30 years in the Hospital Human Services in the Kansas City area. Everyone who knew her would tell you she was one of the nicest people to ever exist. She loved square dancing, her garden, and doing things for everyone.

She has two surviving children, Kenneth E Reid of Pleasant Hill, MO and Jason L Reid of Mountain View, MO, three grandchildren, Angela Reid, Tiffany Reid, and Jason M Reid, two step-grandchildren, Veronica and Erin Anderson, three great-grandchildren, and one GG Grandson, lots and lots of cousins.

Carol was preceded in death by both parents, her brother, her sister, and 1 grandson.

Her ashes will be spread on her family farm where she grew up in Mt. View, MO.
