Carol Barbara Rohovit

Carol Barbara (Sheperis) Rohovit passed away peacefully at her home on May 23, 2026 at the age of 82.

Carol was born in Elizabeth, New Jersey to Katherine and Walter Sheperis. Carol moved to the Kansas City area at age 2 due to her father's job transfer with General Motors. She was a 1962 graduate of Shawnee-Mission North High School. She had been a professional secretary for 32 years, retiring in 1993, then worked part-time for the Sprint Relay Center for 10 years, taking Early Retirement in February 2006. She was a member of Holy Spirit Catholic Church.

She leaves behind two daughters, Lisa Renee Ruggiero of Addison, IL, Kimberly Dian Ferguson of Lee’s Summit, Mo; brother, Michael Sheperis of Steelville, Mo. and her grandchildren, Steven Paul Ruggiero Jr, Britynn Ferguson, Londynn Ferguson and Eastynn Ferguson; two great-grandchildren, Taelynn and Skylynn Ferguson; her parents, a sister and her beloved husband of 50 years, John (Duane) Rohovit.

Cremation is planned without funeral services per Carol’s request.
