June E. (Heath) Carpenter, 73, Oak Grove, MO passed away April 1, 2012. Visitation will be 6 – 8 pm, Thursday at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence, MO 64052. A second visitation will be held from noon – 1 pm, Friday at Pugh Funeral Home, 400 Chestnut St., Golden City, MO followed by a graveside service at 2 pm at the Dudendville Cemetery, Dudenville, MO. The family requests contributions to the American Lung Assoc., 2007 Broadway, Kansas City, MO 64108.
June was born June 14, 1938 in Golden City, MO and graduated from Golden City High School.
June was preceded in death by husbands James Cearnal and George Carpenter and sister Beverly Lambeth. She is survived by son Steve Cearnal and wife Beth, Grain Valley, MO; daughter Terri Ables and husband Neal, Lake Lotawana, MO; son John Martin, Grain Valley, MO; grandchildren Kyle, Matthew and Cullen Cearnal; Cody and Nicole Ables; Tabbitha, Bryson, Kennedee and Jansynn Martin.
