Mary Carr

Mary Jean Carr, 79, of Oak Grove, MO passed away Friday, October 28, 2011. Graveside services will be 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, November 1, 2011 at Blue Springs Cemetery. Mary was born June 29, 1932 in Kansas City, MO to George and Alice (Bieri) Fischbach. She retired from Southwestern Bell Telephone in 1984 after 32 years of dedicated service. Mary loved to shop in her spare time and always had a fresh pot of coffee on when visitors stopped by. She was known for her positive outlook on life and giving care packages out to family and friends. Mrs. Carr is survived by her loving husband of 58 years, Dan Carr; son Daniel D. Carr II and wife Mindy; granddaughter Casey; brother George Fischbach and wife Ann. Mary was preceded in death by her daughter Dana Carr.
