Mary Jane Caruso, 44, Independence, MO passed away Friday, October 19, 2007. A visitation will be held from 6-8:00 PM, Tuesday, October 23 at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Indep., MO. Services will be at 10:00 AM, Wednesday, October 24 at the chapel.
Mary was born September 27, 1963 in Council Bluffs, IA to John and Eloice (Pratt) Caruso. She was an English Teacher and the Department Chair of the English Department for Central High School in Kansas City, MO. Mary loved to read, write and travel, especially to Ireland.
Mary is survived by her daughter, Annelene Caruso; her father, John Caruso; seven siblings: John Caruso, Rosemary (Paul) Schroeder, Christy (Stan) Rickertson, Robert Caruso, Tom (Lisa) Caruso, Andy (Barbara) Caruso, and Ann (Rocky) Drinkwine; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, dear friends, and her Central High School family.
