Ruby Pauline Case, 94, Independence, MO, passed away Tuesday, May 15, 2012.
Funeral services will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, May 19, 2012 at Speaks Suburban Chapel; 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Burial will be at Oak Ridge Memory Gardens. Visitation will be from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to East Independence Community of Christ or Heritage House Community of Christ.
Ruby was born October 29, 1917 in Laird, CO the 3rd child of a family of seven. She was baptized as a member of the RLDS Church at the age of 8. Ruby moved to the Independence area in 1944. She worked for Spring Branch School as a food service manager. She later retired from Sears and Roebuck after 21 years. Ruby was a member of the Community of Christ Church and was active in numerous church organizations.
She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph; one sister; two brothers and her parents.
Survivors include her sons, Clifford L. Case and wife Beverly, Victor R. Case, and Loren R. Case and wife Angie; 16 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; 12 great great grandchildren; one sister; two brothers; and numerous nieces, nephews and family.
