Patrick Casey

We sadly announce the passing of our beloved husband and father, Patrick L. Casey on July 15, 2011. Patrick was born on November 22, 1933 to Florence Spiewak and Patrick Casey. He had a long career in Outdoor Advertising and served as Business Manager and Financial Secretary for the Local #820 IUPAT (International Union of Painters and Allied Trades). Patrick enjoyed going to Ameristar Casino and playing poker, the theatre and traveling to Branson, MO. He is survived by; his wife, Evelyn; children, Alan, Janet, Rick (Amber), Rhonda, and Steve (Joette); 11 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren. Patrick was the rock and foundation of his loving family and his spirit will forever be with us in our minds and in our hearts. Services will be 11:00 a.m., Tuesday, July 19, 2011 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel 18020 E. 39th Street, Independence, MO 64055. Burial will follow in Blue Springs Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 6 to 8:00 p.m., Monday evening at the chapel. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Another Chance Cat Rescue, 501 E. 89th Terr., Kansas City, MO 64131.
