Lewis W. "Bud� Caswell, 75 of Sugar Creek, MO passed away Tue. Dec. 6, 2005. Services will be 2:00 pm, Sat. Dec. 10, 2005 at the Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave. Indep. MO. Burial in Mt. Washington Forever Cemetery. Visitation will be from 7 - 8:30 pm. Friday at the Chapel. Contributions are suggested to a Kansas City area hospice program. Mr. Caswell was born on Jun 22, 1930 to Lewis and Clara Caswell in Independence and was a lifelong area resident. He had been a Machinist for Allis Chalmers retiring in 1981. Bud was a loving father and grandfather and enjoyed helping out his neighbors when there was a need. His love and dedication will be greatly missed. Bud was a member of Mount Washington Baptist and was a Marine Corps veteran of the Korean War. He was a member of the United Steelworkers Local 1958. Bud was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy and a son James. He is survived by two sons, Steven M. Caswell of Kansas City and Christopher V. Caswell of Warsaw. A sister, Clara Ann Claypole of Orrick. Four grandchildren, Jeremy Caswell, Matthew Caswell, Kelli Caswell and Alexander Wilson.
