Robert L. Cearnal, 66, and Lynda R. Cearnal, 66, both passed away Aug. 6, 2009. Funeral service will be at 2 pm, Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2009 at the Golden City (MO) Christian Church; interment at Dudenville Cemetery. There will be a visitation in Independence, MO from 4 �" 6 pm, Sunday at Speaks Suburban Chapel and a visitation in Golden City from 6 8 pm, Monday at the golden City Christian Church. The family requests contributions to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Assoc.
Lynda was born Sept. 1, 1942 in Golden City, MO. She graduated from Lockwood High School in 1960 and was the City Clerk in Sugar Creek, MO for over twenty years. She and her husband, Bob were both member of St. Cyril’s Catholic church in Sugar Creek.
Lynda was preceded in death by her parents Earl and Ilah Parker; sisters Loretta Gardner and Reba Oberman and brother Rex Parker. She is survived by brothers Alden Parker and wife Betty; Norman Parker and wife Marlene; Melvin Parker and wife Bonnie, all of Golden City, MO; John Parker and wife Margie, Republic, MO; Stanley Parker and wife Henrietta, Golden City, MO; half-brothers Jim Parker and wife Lois, Lockwood, MO; Jerry Parker and wife Maureen; step-brother Robert Bitney and wife Ann, all of Houston, TX; stepsister Janice Kasper and husband Ralph, Harrisonville, MO; step-mother Irene Parker, Lockwood, MO; and many nieces and nephews.
Bob was born Dec. 6, 1942 in Lockwood, MO and graduated from Golden City High School in 1960. He was a Shipping Supervisor at ISSCO, Inc. and retired from there in July, 2007. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and grilling.
Bob was preceded in death by his father Paul Cearnal and step-father Delbert Boehne. He is survived by his mother Maxine Cearnal Boehne; sisters Barbara Tatum and husband Bob, all of Carthage, MO; Vickie Hoover, Oronogo, MO; step-brother Gary Boehne and wife Phyllis, Miami, OK; two nieces, a nephew and four great-nieces.
