Joan Chappelow

Joan "Jody� Chappelow, 85, of Independence, MO passed away on December 25, 2005. Joan was born on November 6, 1920 in Springfield, MO to Charles and Mary Dwyer. She was preceded in death by her husbands, Norris Brill of 29 years, and Bill Chappelow of 25 years; as well as her sister, Charlotte Whitlock. Joan is survived by her daughter and son-in law, Janet and Gene Belovarac of Corona, CA; sister-in-law, Mary Truitt and husband Leo of Independence, MO; granddaughter, Joy Johnson and husband Steve of Parker, CO; grandson, Major Andrew Belovarac and wife Liandra of Lathrop, MO; daughter, Willetta Latimer and husband Tom, Springfield, MO; two sons, Mike Chappelow and wife Marty, Lee�s Summit, MO and Kent Chappelow and wife Sandy of Lee�s Summit; 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. A private memorial service for the family will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, December 28, at the Woods Chapel United Methodist Church in Lee�s Summit, MO. In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to the United Cerebral Palsy Foundation in honor of her beloved great granddaughter, Lily.
