Walt Evilsizer, 88, of Buckner, MO, passed away on October 1, 2025. A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, October 10, 2025, at Speaks Buckner Chapel. Visitation is from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM, with a Memorial Service to follow. Walt was born on July 19, 1937, in Rothville, MO to Elroy and Julia (Littrell) Evilsizer. He attended Chariton County R1 in Mendon, MO. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in 1957 and was honorably discharged in 1963. He began working various jobs, including Beam Electric and Wonder Bread. After, he married his late wife, Bonnie, in 1981. He began working at GM Fairfax until his retirement in 1999. He enjoyed time with family going camping, hunting and fishing. His hobbies include woodworking and various other craft making activities.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Bonnie Jean Evilsizer; his parents, Elroy and Julia Evilsizer; his stepdaughter, Jennifer Brisbin; his brothers, Richard Evilsizer, Ray Evilsizer, and Larry Evilsizer; and his sister, Sherry Scarlett.
He is survived by his brother, Danny Evilsizer; his daughter, Teri Heavener of Blue Springs, MO; son, Gary Evilsizer (Christine) of Wellington, MO; his stepsons, Richard Freeman (Joann) of Lincoln, MO, and Bill Scott of Braymer, MO; his nine grandchildren; and his seventeen great-grandchildren.
