Charles Henry
Harmon III
October 30, 1962 – February 18, 2026
Charles H. Harmon III suffered a heart attack and passed away on February 18, 2026, at the age of 63. His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of all who knew and loved him.
Born on October 30, 1962, Charlie lived a life marked by generosity, loyalty, and a deep devotion to his friends and family. He was the kind of man who showed up—steadfast in his support, sincere in his words, and generous not only in spirit but in action. Whether offering a helping hand, thoughtful advice, or simply his presence, Charlie gave freely and without hesitation.
His greatest pride and deepest joy were his children. He loved them with an endless, unwavering love. He celebrated their victories, challenged them, and made sure they always knew they were cherished beyond measure. To them, he was more than a father—he was a protector, mentor, and constant source of strength.
As a friend, Charlie was devoted and true. He formed bonds that lasted decades and valued those relationships deeply. His laughter, steady counsel, and compassionate heart made him someone people turned to in both good times and difficult ones.
Charlie will be remembered for his passion for racing. He was creative, a visionary—and somewhat of a pioneer. He enjoyed fishing, hunting, golfing, scuba diving, and cheering on his kids, nieces, and nephews in their competitive sports. Charlie played hard, and his legacy lives on in the countless acts of kindness and friendships that defined his years.
Charlie is survived by his two beloved children, who were the center of his world: his son, Charles “Chaz” Harmon, and his wife, Brooke; his daughter, Kaylee Stone, and her husband, Scott; and Shelly Harmon. He cherished his granddaughters, Kingsley Kay Harmon and Selah Thalia Stone, who brought immense joy and light to his life.
He is also survived by his loving sister, Kris Martin, and her husband, Jeff; his nephews, Jeffery Martin, Shane Brungardt, and Hayden Behrens; his nieces, Kirsti Martin and Halli Martin; and his great niece, Emrey Emilia. Charlie leaves behind many extended family members and dear friends who will carry his memory forward with love, gratitude, and deep affection.
He was preceded in death by his mother and father, Maryann and Chuck Harmon, his grandparents, and many dear friends who welcomed him home with open arms.
He will be deeply missed and forever remembered.
