Charles Richard Hill, 80 of Blue Springs, MO passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2025 at his residence. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, December 10, 2025 at the Speaks Suburban Chapel with burial to follow in Forest Hill Calvary Cemetery. The family will greet friends from 10:00 a.m., until service time Wednesday at the chapel. Charles was born August 11, 1945 to Richard Francis and Charlotte (McColl) Hill. He grew up in Blue Springs after being born in Ironton, MO and was a longtime area resident graduating from Blue Springs, MO in 1963 and had attended UMKC. He was a veteran of the US Air Force and retired after 20 years of service in 1986. During his service he was stationed in Alaska, Syracuse, New York, Turkey, Washington, DC, Greece, San Antonio, TX, Omaha, NE and Wiesbaden, Germany. After his military service he worked for the Missouri Department of Social Services in the IT department until he retired in 2013. He enjoyed photography, was an avid car enthusiast especially Morgan’s, MG’s and Porsche’s. He was a member of MG Car Club of Kansas City. He is survived by; his wife of over 40 years, Anita Hill of the home; a daughter, Pamela Dockins and husband Robert of Independence, MO; a sister, Virginia Hill of Kansas City, MO and 3 grandchildren, Alyssa Dockins, Maddox Dockins and Cole Dockins. He was preceded in death by a daughter, Robin Hill in 1990 and a sister, Mary Blaisdell. The family wishes to express their sincere thanks to the staff at St. Luke’s Hospice for the care and compassion they showed for Mr. Hill and his family in his final days.
