Doris Childress

Doris A. Childress, 73, Lexington, MO passed away March 10, 2013. Visitation will be from 10 – 11 am, Wed., March 13 at Speaks Buckner Chapel, 300 Adams, Buckner, MO 64016. Graveside services will follow at 11:30 am at Buckner Hill Cemetery. Doris was born Dec. 20, 1939 in Biddeford, ME to Lucien and Yvonne (Nadeau) Roberge and grew up there. She was a dietary cook at different locations and was at the Lexington Care Center, now know as Benchmark Care Center, for seven years. She lived in Buckner, MO from 1972 to 1989 before moving to Lexington. She was a Catholic and attended Immaculate Conception Church in Lexington. She was a member of the Lioness Club.
Doris is survived by daughter Debbie Reese and husband Steve, Xenia, OH; son Steven Childress, Branson, MO; daughter Sharon Engelman and husband Jamee; son Gary Childress; daughter Heather Kaullen, all of Independence, MO; sisters Lucienne Landry and husband Romeo, Bellingham, MA; Racheal Labbe and husband Pete; Laurie Legros; brothers Paul Roberge and wife Helen; Eddie Roberge, all of Biddeford, ME; grandchildren Tiffany Ratliff and husband Jeff, Jamestown, OH; Jessica Sharky and husband Dr. Chad Sharky, Independence, MO; Nikki Poole, Xenia, OH; Michael Engelman and fiancée Tristen Hammontree, Independence, MO; Spencer Engelman, Independence, MO; and great-grandchildren Bryce, Braden, Madeline, Makenna, Chase and Samuel.
