Faye Christopher, 96, of Independence, MO passed away Sunday, March 8, 2009 at Centerpoint Medical Center. A visitation will be from 10-11:00 AM Wednesday, March 11 with services beginning at 11:00 AM at Carson-Speaks Chapel, 1501 W. Lexington Ave., Independence; burial at Floral Hills Cemetery.
Faye was preceded in death by her first husband Francis Butler; second husband Charley Christopher; grandchild Jamie Lee Butler; and siblings: James Rader, Florence Anderson, Hattie Parrish, and Sara Brown. She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law Gary and Deniece Butler; six grandchildren: Christopher, Lynn, Shannon, Ryan, Steven, and Michael; several great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews and extended family and friends.
